Attorney Andrew Sannes

Andrew Sannes, a partner in the firm’s business practice group, engages in a general corporate and business counseling practice, focusing on the representation of private businesses, public companies and private equity funds in the middle market. Andrew’s practice emphasizes mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations, the formation of private equity funds and other pooled investment vehicles, joint ventures and corporate governance. His transactional experience encompasses a number of industries and market segments, including energy, technology, distribution, logistic services, manufacturing, health care, retail, financial services and lodging. Andrew’s extensive in-depth experience in numerous industries includes acting as counsel representing both purchasers and sellers in a wide variety of transactions – among them, public to private, private to private, leveraged recapitalization, divisional or asset sales and joint venture/strategic alliance transactions.

Andrew’s broad range of experience includes advising and counseling individual investors and management teams, financial sponsors, companies ranging in size from Fortune 500 to lower middle market and financial institutions on a wide range of transactional matters. His clientele consists of LBO and private equity groups, public companies, strategic corporate or institutional entities, investment subsidiaries of public companies and private investors/owners. Additionally, he works with family-owned and closely held businesses acting as outside general counsel with respect to their sale and recapitalization transactions, negotiating and documenting sales and services, licensing, supply and other commercial and employment arrangements and agreements, and corporate governance matters.
